Following in the steps of his ancestors, Victor Azzopardi continues a long line of family tradition in the art of Gold and Silversmithing dating back to the 19th century.

His love for this craft became evident early in his teenage years and this led him to an apprenticeship with a well established Maltese master craftsman in order to acquire the necessary techniques of executing the work itself.

He qualified after five years of service and obtained his licence of gold and silversmith on the 2nd of January 1975, together with his own mark “A V L”.

Victor Azzopardi subsequently set up his own business, operating as a gold and silver jewellery manufacturer, during which time he also sought to perfect his skills by undergoing overseas training.

In 1988, Victor Azzopardi expanded his business and acquired a limited liability company status which operates under the name of Victor Azzopardi Ltd., a name to which invaluable repute is attached and which, in Malta, is synonymous to the goldsmith and silversmith industry.

Today, master craftsman Victor Azzopardi takes pride in introducing his new collection, The Maltese Silver Collection ® which displays a fantastic array of Maltese silver artefacts such as, amongst others, Coffee Pots, Glove Trays, Chamber Candlesticks and Oil Lamps in limited edition. Crafted by hand by Victor Azzopardi, these unique pieces of timeless beauty are a must for any earnest collector of fine adornments.

The Maltese Silver Collection ® is a testimonial of true Maltese craftsmanship and has become much sought after both locally and abroad.
